MVOA will be assigning the regular season as well as season tournaments including Sections & State for the entire state of MN. You can find out where the nearest teams are located on the MN Boys site.

Metro Volleyball is proud to have supported the MN Boys High School Volleyball Association for the past 6 seasons! Boys high school volleyball will now transition to the MSHSL as an emerging sport and will play a Spring 2024 season under the supervision of both MSHSL and MN Boys.
To Krista, Jenny, Walt & all the leadership/support team at MN Boys, we congratulate you on a job well done and look forward to continuing to support boys volleyball as it transitions to a fully sanctioned MSHSL activity in 2025.
Welcome to the 2024 Juniors/Club Season!
We hope you'll join us starting in January for the 2024 season. MVOA assigns weekend Girls Juniors/Club Tournaments from January through June with events posted on our Juniors tab found at the top of this page. There is a link to the Application as well as a Google calendar at the bottom of Juniors page that shows you a timeline of events.
Applicants should be able to fully comply with all guidance and requirements regarding officiating events involving minors. Information on those certification options is listed on our Independent Contractors page. This season's application is live! You will provide your availability for each weekend using the BLOCKS tab in Arbiter.

For the first time, we get to celebrate one of our own reaching the pinnacle of NCAA officiating as the R2 for the 2023 NCAA Division I Finals this past December.

There is an urgent need for volleyball officials in our area. We need more people to step up and take on the challenge of making sure our game is fairly played, well-managed, and a safe environment for all participants.
If you love volleyball, you will have the best seat in the house as an official. Officiating will teach you how to see our game in a whole new light – one that emphasizes fairness, integrity, decisiveness and sound judgement. No matter what you may do for your "day job", get ready to challenge yourself and start one of the most rewarding careers you’ll ever have by saying "Yes" to officiating!
Parks & Rec Volleyball - Winter 2024
The Winter Parks & Rec season will begin in January. Whether you're looking to be a sub or would like to be a regular for a league, we'd love to hear from you!
The 2023-24 Parks & Rec Application is posted in August and linked on each of the league pages found under the Parks & Rec drop-down menu.
Applicants should be able to fully comply with all guidance and requirements of the leagues including those concerning protection and promotion of the health and safety measures.
2024 Fall MSHSL Girls High School Volleyball
We will start assigning for the 2024 Fall Season starting in May. You may register with the MSHSL at any time. Remember to select Metro Volleyball as one of your associations.

Submit the MVOA Assigning Survey (available in May) after you've registered with MSHSL so we know the best way to assign you in the fall.
