| About The League |
Juan Corona and Tammy King collaborated to create Metro Volleyball, INC. in 1987, their goal was to form the "perfect league" from the players standpoint. In the Spring of 2000 Juan Corona took over the league as sole league director. METRO VOLLEYBALL currently runs league play at Queens College on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30 - 10:30 pm. Three seasons are offered each year so players can enjoy year round volleyball. The Fall season begins in September, the Winter season in January and the Spring season starts in April. Individual players who wish to join a team, as well as pre-existing teams are invited to join in the fun. Skill Clinics and Open Courts are offered periodically to enhance the overall volleyball experience. |
