Starting Time
Games start at 7:30, 8:30, & 9:30pm. For any reason if a team cannot start on time, there will be a 5 mins wait time, and their 1st game will be forfeited. For another 5 mins will forfeit the 2nd game, and 5 more mins will forfeit the last game.

Co-ed / Minimum Players Rule
  • Open Divion: female player is optional.
  • A-Division: minimun of 1 female players must be on court.
  • B-Division: minimun of 2 females players must be on court.
  • Combined Division: rule of A-division applied.
  • Minimum of 4 players must be presented on court. Updated: To prevent too many forfeit games, if a team has only 3 listed players, they could have 1 sub but only play with 4 players.

Scoring & Matches
  • Rally score to 25, cap to 27.
  • 3 game matches.

Service
  • The team who has more players with an uniform on has the previlege to choose side or serve.
  • The server must wait for referee's whistle to serve.
  • The server may not touch the court before the service. If the server touched the end line during service, foot fault will be called and such team will lose the service and a point.
  • The server must hit the ball within 8 seconds after the referee's whistle for service.
  • Only one toss or release of the ball is allowed.
  • Net on serve is valid. That is if the serivce ball touches the net and continue into the opponent's court, such ball is still in play.

Returing the Serve
  • Double hit on the first ball over the net is not a fault. However, a carry is not allowed.
  • You may not attack the served ball if that ball is above the net. Any way to direct the ball to the opponent's court is considered as an attack.
  • You may use any body part to make hit the ball, including your feet.

Spiking
  • Players may not reach over the net to spike. However, if the player's hand follow through over the net after a spike, it is not a fault as long as he/she doesn't touch the net.
  • Only the front row players may spike the ball. Any back row players must spike behind the 10-foot line.

Blocking
  • No blocking on the served ball.
  • Blockers may reach over the net to block a ball, but only can touch the ball after the opponent has executed an attack hit. Bblocking a set is also a fault.
  • A players may hit the ball again after he/she makes a block. The block does not considered as a team hit.
  • Only front-row players can block.

Net
No Fault:
  • Contact with the net by a player is not a fault, unless it is made during the action of playing the ball,
    or it interferes with the play.
  • When the ball is driven into the net and causes it to touch an opponent, no fault is committed.
At Fault:
  • A player touches the ball or an opponent in the opponents’ space before or during the opponents’ attack hit.
  • A player penetrates into the opponents’ space under the net, if the entire foot has crossed the center line.
  • A player touches the net or the antenna during his/her action of playing the ball or interferes with the
    play.

Time Out
2 time out of 30 seconds each per game.
